Tracking Protection Lists are a low-profile, but effective, way to help protect yourself from third-party tracking, and help protect the web sites you use from data leakage and fraud.

If you use a different browser, check the list of tracking protection options to find something that works for you. EasyPrivacy is a project affiliated with EasyList and AdBlock Plus, but neither AdBlock Plus nor EasyList provides tracking protection by default (more info). AdBlock Plus users should still run a tracking protection test to check the configuration.
